The Sane Food Solution is designed to lead you to a recovery process that has helped thousands of people to let go of their problems with food, eating and body weight, and other self-destructive behaviors of all kinds. Recovery from all these issues can mean lots of different things to different people, but let me tell you part of what abundance means to me:
First of all, your Sane Food Solution has a food plan that has flexibility and choices. That food plan has enough food that you are not ravenous between meals. You should be hungry for ten to fifteen minutes before a meal and satisfied afterwards.
The food plan has an abundance of nutrients to meet all your body’s nutrient needs, so all your body functions work really well and you have energy to live your life.
That is a bare bones beginning. Then The Sane Food Solution will lead you to a life of abundance, with freedom from the food struggle. You will be helped to become the person you want to be, the person you were meant to be. We will provide you the direction, guidance, resources, suggestions, and support that will help you set yourself free of abusive self-destructive eating and behaviors.
This process is about validation, not deprivation.
This process is about freedom, not about prison.
This process is about having enough to eat, not about being hungry.
This process is about peace of mind, not about obsessive thinking.
This process is about feeling satisfied, not about longing.
This process is about healthy choices, not about restriction.
This process is about having enough for your body, your mind, your heart, and your spirit, not about starvation.
The Sane Food Solution is about creating the life you want, not struggling on the same old merry-go-round.
The Sane Food Solution is about stability, not about swinging back and forth from one choice to another.
The food plan that works for you will take you to a long term stable solution, by a path you have probably not yet traveled. For The Sane Food Solution to work for you, you may need to set aside some of your preconceived notions about food, eating and body weight.
You may also need to set aside your right to eat certain foods that set off your physical allergies and intolerances. You may need to set aside your right to eat whatever you want whenever you want to. You may need to draw effective boundaries with other people who don’t want you to change. You may need to insist. You may need to ask for help. That can include the barista at your favorite coffee shop, your girlfriends, employer, family members, or heaven forbid – your mother-in-law! But I promise the results will be worth the effort.
Never again will you count the minutes till you are “allowed” to eat again.
Never again will cravings and obsessions torture you.
Never again will you feel that horrible guilty emptiness. I promise.
