Preventing and Managing Relapse


Are you finding yourself able to maintain a period of abstinence – then something goes wrong, and before you know it you are back into the food?  This program will teach you how to prevent relapse and to get out of relapses, slips, or that struggling “slipping and sliding” space.

This is a gentle but powerfully interactive workshop designed to help you identify triggers which increase your chances of relapse, and how to use your skills to enhance your recovery.  To stay off of the “Relapse Express”, you will:

  • Understand the process of slips and relapse
  • Identify your own relapse warning signs
  • Make a slip or relapse an opportunity for creating long term abstinence
  • Identify your best tools for recovery from relapse
  • Learn to use your tools to re-establish recovery and prevent relapse
