For 2023 – The New Transition

As we look back on 2022 and forward to 2023, how are you doing? What went well for you in 2022? What went badly? What kind of transformation do you want in this new year? And are the holidays always a hard season for you?

I found a unique way to make the holidays better next year. This year, I will get out my 2022 and 2023 notebook. And in November and December, maybe even October of 2023 I will write the holiday changes I wish I had planned into this year past, so I can use them as a guide in the coming year. For me, especially, taking time off, and at the right time, is essential to plan.

Now as you plan, look at your performance and achievements in 2022.  How do you want things to be different in 2023? What kind of planning can you do to make that easy?

The Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year, has passed. From now on, each day will get a little longer and each of us can enjoy a little more sunshine. One of the names for the Solstice is the Return of Light. The darkness will get shorter and the days will get longer.

For many of us, this was a challenging year. Permacrisis they call it.

But the light is coming back. Let’s enjoy the light. Let’s spread the light. Let’s reach out to help another who needs us.

As we welcome this New Year of 2023, I’m feeling such a sense of inspiration and gratitude for the new possibilities that await. For the new doorways that can open, and the light and blessings that may come in

A clear mind and an open heart are key to receiving clear guidance and inspiration from Spirit. That means we need to be careful with our food and activity choices so we can hear the messages. And we pay attention to our intentions!

Intention is so powerful. Pay attention to what you are saying to yourself. Focus on the positive and reach for what you really want. Let your Higher Power manifest in your life in a way that is better for you.

Impress your intentions with the love of your heart so they become activated and actions that empower positive unfoldment in your life.

As we enter the new year, pretend that it is held in a large and beautiful meeting room. As you enter, you are invited to place all the difficulties of 2022 in a huge brass bowl which is at the doorway. And you take all the negativity from your body, all the struggles and worries, and place them in the bowl. They are washed away with a gentle gurgling sound and you are finally free.

As you step past the doorway, you meet a spiritual friend. Perhaps an angel, a saint, a loved one, or an unknown entity or spirit.  They have volunteered to be with you through the year to guide and help you. Say thank you for their volunteering.

Now what do you want to accomplish this year? What are three goals of physical, emotional, spiritual, or other kinds of growth you want this year? Only three. They will be hard work and greatly rewarding. Your three goals transform themselves into lovely little charms on your charm bracelet or keychain, to sparkle and remind you of who you want to become this year.

Now the music starts. People are laughing and joyful. Come let’s celebrate the joys of the new year! Let’s look for happiness, achievement, accomplishment, satisfaction and joy in this new year! Let’s stay grounded in our recoveries and happy with our emotional and spiritual growth.

Joy and Blessings to you as you begin this journey,

Theresa
